A set of 10 lightweight and convenient to handle weld specimens, each containing a minimum of 17 flaws to include 5 Lamination areas and 12 Corrosion & Pitting areas . The set is designed for practical training, to provide an introduction to defect detection, sizing and interpretation.

All Sonaspection flawed specimen sets come in a custom designed heavy duty black case with a perfectly cut foam internal storage system to ensure total protection of the product.

FS-CS-06 has been designed by Sonaspection to give an introduction to defect detection, sizing and interpretation in corrosion and erosion samples in the following simple geometries:

4 off Plate – 4″ x 8″ x 0.4″ WT

4 off Plate – 4″ x 8″ x 0.6″ WT

1 off Pipe – 4” Dia x 0.4” WT x 8”

1 off Elbow –  3.5” Sch. 80 (4” Dia x 0.3” WT)
