Standard flawed samples are designed and manufactured to meet the requirements of all known internationally recognised qualification programmes.

Each uniquely numbered sample contains 2 – 4 defects appropriate to the NDE discipline selected.

Documentation package includes:

  • NDE Report(s) showing overall size, defect type/size/location and cross-sectional view.
  • Certificate of Conformance showing method of test used.

Description

Set UC-39 has been designed by Sonaspection to give a varying range of thicknesses, weld preparations and defects, the set contains the following:

3 off UC-15 – Plate – 12” x 12” x 0.5” WT SV
1 off UC-16 – Plate – 12” x 16” x 1” WT SV
3 off UC-17 – Plate – 12” x 12” x 0.75” WT DV
2 off UC-18 – Plate – 12” x 16” x 1” WT DV
3 off UC-19 – Plate – 12” x 17.25” x 1.25” WT DV
