Standard flawed samples are designed and manufactured to meet the requirements of all known internationally recognised qualification programmes.

Each uniquely numbered sample contains 2 – 4 defects appropriate to the NDE discipline selected.

Documentation package includes:

  • NDE Report(s) showing overall size, defect type/size/location and cross-sectional view.
  • Certificate of Conformance showing method of test used.

Set UC-41 has been designed by Sonaspection to give a varying range of thicknesses, weld preparations and defects, the set contains the following:

4 off UC-27 – Tee – 6” x 6” x 12” x 0.75” WT SV

2 off UC-28 – Tee – 8” x 8” x 12” x 1” WT SV

2 off UC-29 – Tee – 8” x 8” x 12” x 1” WT DV

2 off UC-30 – Tee – 9” x 9” x 12” x 1.25” WT DV
